If you are a Boomer without an iPhone then buy a Chromebook or get your live-in adult children to install Chrome OS Flex on your laptop.
If you are even moderately tech savvy, don't use anything oddly Windows reliant (unlike me, I use a DAW that is Windows specific), and don't play games that require kernel level anticheat, then just install Zorin or Mint or that gaming focused steamOS-alike distro I can't remember the name of.
