If its a fantasy setting deus-ex-machina magic is always an easy out - but in any other setting the end result of unconstrained expansion with an empathetic character has kind of a bitter-sweet end. Sure you can write your girl to LOVE being an immobile tit-mountain, but If you like the character its not really an end-point that "feels"
