Huh. I guess this means Cheld finding out about it could still be left as a cool interaction in the future.
It also makes me realize I don't question the translation enough when shit doesn't make sense or is contradictory. I usually just blame the writers but for all I know it might be the localization team fucking up. Though I also don't have it in me to manually comb through every line in the game for a Gacha like I've done with some JRPGs.
