I honestly miss old fashioned turn-based JRPGs. They had what felt like a "Go ahead, ship anybody in your party with anybody" attitude to their characters. That's sad if the short attention spans and social media addiction of con-zoomers are the reason we don't really see many high budget turn-based games anymore.
I'm still playing the JP gacha Another Eden since its got that same classic "ship anyone" JRPG energy.
picrel, you can have your male party members taking a bath together at a hot spring or going out for drinks. A perfect springboard for writing a fanfic for whoever you're shipping. It's like something you'd see in a Suikoden game.
