you start to max out all the other progression systems in the game from most relevant like crafters and gatherers and leveling chocobo to max to least relevant until you're leveling your ARR squadrons and trusts to max for literally no reward other than seeing something fully completed and pentamelding ilv290 accessories and running BA just to maximize your bis in eureka, and finishing shadowbringers shared fates for LITERALLY NO REWARD JUST TO COMPLETE IT
It never truly ends, you just prioritize which one you find fun and/or satisfying to do.
