For supportive stuff, no, not really, np1 is fine. The only issue I can think of is if you want *just* a buster support you're probably better off with Merlin or Bitch Light in 95% of situations. Her unique value comes from being able to do damage in addition to supporting the team, and her damage is a little poopy and benefits from np2.
