Slippery slope is often seen as a fallacy but that isn't correct. It is only a logical fallacy when the slope is treated as inescapably and inevitably slippery. However certain actions making others more likely is so obvious as to be self-evident, to deny that is foolish bordering on malicious.

This is the case with the vtubers posted. As they drift, the pulse shifts and continues to shift further as the envelope is pushed. Behaviors and interests and activities drift away. As a broad example if you start with vtubers that are X, Y, Z. Then you start bringing up vtubers that are only X and Z. At this point it can become normalized and then you get ones that are only X or Z, not even both. Then not even a single one of the aspects.

Another scenario that is likely to cause this is people wishes to bring up or post vtubers merely because they are associated with or friends with other vtubers. This way lies serious danger of dilution and a shift of thread focus and landscape because it tends to continue onward. When a vtuber is accepted for nor reason beyond being friends with others, then the idea that this vtuber is a part of the thread can create a cascade because they will in turn have their own friends in the same boat and manner.
