It actually makes sense for genshin since they consistently put out huge updates on a set six week schedule. But then you look at any shitty western game and they do literally fucking nothing for years.
Bethesda took like over a year to release a horrendously bad DLC for their starfield slop game.
Killing floor 3 took god knows how many years to come out and it only has 20 weapons and barely any content.

World of warcraft's latest expansion has been fucking dogshit with nearly a year long awful season of recycled old dungeons that got boring after a month. And that's with a fucking paid subscription ON TOP of the paid expansion. Seriously, western mmo players are fucking cucked. You get like eight dungeons in a dragged out nearly year long season, and half of them are recycled from decade old xpacs.
Literally every game I play has at least 10 times slower content releases than genshin, and that's being generous. It really is insane how bad western devs are.
