The music and district systems in 6 are great and it's one of the main things I missed going into 7, everything so nicely compartmentalized. It made cities look big but not like a giant sprawling mess as they are in the sequel. Workshop has some OK mods on it. Everything else is a step down from 4 and 5. If you're a sucker for Civ I'd say it's worth it though, you'll sink 80 hours easy if that's the case.

SA1 was Sega firing on all cylinders as one final effort to stay relevant as one of the big console manufacturers. They had something to prove with this game, it was (along with the Dreamcast) their final chance. It was a perfect storm of circumstance that birthed the first (and last) truly good Sonic game. It's why they can't simply make another adventure game, those circumstances aren't there anymore.
