Why? D2 is unironically better with gamepad. Plus D2R devs didn't nerf anything but buffed everything useless. D2R also fixes Iron Golem bug which as I remember is unfixable in D2 and improved summon AI. The only controversial part is charms that let you to bypass immunities on hell.
