I played it. It's a solid 7/10. Mid-weight 4x-ish game with some area control and asymmetric powers. The coolest part I think is the Aliens you get in your opening hand that you can choose from. You get to slot in 3 out of 8 to be your alien allies that give you some passive benefits that felt meaningful causing you to lean into a certain strategy.

I will say the iconography, particularly for combat information was rough, and there are some techs that negate combat which kind of made that element inconsequential in our game. I also didn't get a sense that the scoring opportunities were evenly weighted, but that could have just been lack of understanding on the first play.
