Yeah I totally get what you mean. Last year or so during a work trip I met a co-worker from where I went, and she wanted to show me the town and hanged out with me the last couple of nights I stayed there. She was a nerd like me and showed me all the geek stores she knew of, and we had coffee and ate roasted chestnuts together. It was pretty fun, it felt like a free trial of having a social life lol... And then I went back home where I have no friends whatsoever, fuck my life

Hope you find someone sooner or later. Not that I recommend this place to make friends, but there's usually more than a few people from Germany posting every often in these threads. Check the archives and maybe you'll find someone worth a shoot...?
