I would scare them away just opening the window to get a clear pic, and Idw leave it open just waiting all day for them to come back.

In the summer, its mostly bluejays that strut around in my bushes. Its comical and I enjoy hearing the crazy bird arguments they get into.

Right now, one sparrow keeps giving his "who's around and down?" chirp. They are quite a sassy bunch. I learned a lot about animal socialization by watching them when I used to feed them. They are a crafty, shrewd lot, but they are emotionally children which makes it funny to watch.
