You lack any sort of agency and don't realize most of your problems are your own fault. The world is isn't great and some things are out of your hands, but it's always some other person or group's fault you live with your mom at the age of 30 and you're a virgin. There's always some strawman you'll effortlessly construct to justify why your life sucks or why you cannot see the glass as half full. You almost want the imagined boot on your neck to be real. But no, it's all on you. It always has been, and it's why our society is going down the tubes. Because there are millions of you, irrespective of ideology, race, etc. who will vote for the person telling you the comfortable lie that it's someone else's fault you don't live on Big Rock Candy Mountain, and you will gleefully throw rocks at the person telling you that you need to really change some shit in your life or else you're going down without a fight.
