I'm not saying this game should chase the gacha audience by keeping every waifu and husbando pure and single, with maybe at most a little bit of vague teasing of mutual interests

But making these relationships so explicit and not-insignificant part of the main story updates is honestly really fucking odd to me and I dont think it does the main story any favor
