Reca a shit, and I still wouldn't pull for the other guy who was possessing Reca, but I at least LIKE the other guy who was possessing Reca.
Like I said, they did a good job having the collab do its own thing that adjacently had some Fate characters... rather than just having the Fate characters reenact franchise scenes and then pause for clapping.

True, most collabs would've taken the lame safe route and just copypasted scenes from the collab property so idiots can clap "OMG THEY SAID THE THING" "OMG THEY DID THE THING" "ITS JUST LIKE THE SCENE I REMEMBER MY HANDS ARE CLAPPING ON THEIR OWN"
Instead HSR so foolishly decided to do its own thing and weave the story into its own lore while letting the collab elements be secondary to that.

The irony of course is if they took the lazy route, they'd be rightly mocked FOR taking the lazy route.
Whereas instead they stupidly did an event that frankly felt about the same length and style as a typical minor FGO event.
I wonder how mutual players of both games aside from myself feel on this matter. I personally liked that it felt like a FGO event. Several have actually focused heavily even on minor NPCs that aren't playable, not just headliner wank.
So I wonder how much is just westoid shitposters being attack dogs regardless of what the collab did.

I mean when Genshin did a collab, all we did was make fun of Aloy and Sony...

Nah, it was good. Decent event quest. Used the characters well, both the Fate and Penacony ones, and didn't overstay its welcome by being excessively padded.
