I'm sure it won't happen and they only appeared together in the trailer for a cool visual, but I do think it would be cool if both Rovers were present in the story.
Perhaps one of them is the 'past' Rover and it turns out every time Rover's memory is wiped, they get a new body, ala Doctor Who.
