There should be an S-Rank ticket or two available to new players that lets you pick that Vera, might be worth using that basic banner choice on a more recent unit since the tickets don't have everyone available.

Not that I know of? Although I might be missing something, the only indicator I know of is on the actual dodge button and it only indicates whether or not matrix is available to you. In my image the left icon has no matrix available and the right means matrix is available.
