Ignoring pity, you get on average1.22 ligma per ticket. A ticket costs 93.75 AP at 100% bonus. That's 0.013 ligma per AP.
From hard nodes, you get 0.02 ELEPH of a specific student on average. (40% drop rate, 20 ap cost).
I think you should still sweep 1 or 2 hard nodes of must have students. The event gives you ligma, which is at worst 1/5 of an eleph. That's also ignoring all the goodies you get from sweeping the nodes and the event rewards.
