Pathfinder 2e with a healthy dose of homebrew and 3rd party Ponyfinder rules. It... works. The guns are all from one of the player's own attempt to run a pony game set in New Vegas; I went in and nerfed a lot of the automatics and toned a couple of other things down, but it's worked out so far. I also added a DT/DR mechanic to armor to make things a bit less lethal for the PCs and cooked up some extra weather rules since storms and stuff are a big deal in the local area, but those haven't come up much yet.

It has been SO swingy, bro.
>party ambles into Sniper Alley
>find a set of troggs sleeping on top of their last meal (a pair of ponies just trying to get high and snog in private)
>rogue player is away for this game so I have their PC throw a road flare, since the party was informed earlier that troggs hate bright light
>this one action basically disables half the pack due to failed CON saves and the fight is a complete steamroll
>Trogg encounter 2, party sets up a killzone but no one flares and also the troggs roll like God while the party is just trying to roll above 10
>Alicorn goes to 0, starts dying
>another PC in single digits
>Diamond Dog tanking hits like they're Senator Armstrong due to the DT rules + rock armor
They made it, but what a mess.

The diamond dog has probably been the most consistent MVP. They were the one to tackle and eventually restrain the sniper during that particular shootout, and their tunneling ability was how the party finally managed to approach the building in the first place (although I realized yesterday I forgot to have them actually maintain the grapple).
