It's not that bad! If you're looking to max out levels, I recommend picking the promoted ranged squad and going for Narantuya on S1. She absolutely trivializes this entire gamemode, perhaps moreso than Walter. As for stamp collection, while I find it relaxing, it definitely feels awful getting to 5F and having ED3/4 encounter dodge you last minute. Apparently the IS2 update fixes the RNG issues so it'll definitely be easier in 5 or so months if you're interested.
