>I was thinking of having a scene with empress zelda eventually down the line. Where she basically gives him advice about handling that sort of weight of responsibility. She'd be able to notice more then most if/when it starts to get to him.
Makes sense, she was basically born into the role.

>Ironically I was considering having some of ventis descendants marry into the imperial family and vice versa eventually over the millennia after getting their little kingdom.
Wasn’t Alicia part of a royal branch family?

>I'm not familiar with that setting. Whats her deal?
She’s from a setting where the nobility can all use magic, but she isn’t able to because of plot reasons. This has led to her being somewhat grouchy at times, especially with people who annoy her, but if you wait for her to wear herself out or just don’t push her buttons in the first place she’s a fairly decent person. Also pretty smart, considering she was able to last a full year in magic school while being unable to successfully use magic. The interesting part is in her world elves and humans are enemies, so if she wound up in Hyrule she’d freak out at first, though once you get her to listen she’d calm down. Also note that she doesn’t have many friends, so she’s weak to friendship.
