it was a one-two punch, of issues that Netanyahu and Israel needed to resolve. Refer to my previous post
Netanyahu is in bad shape since the new U.S. administration took office in January. After a few months of clamoring for United States to support a ground invasion, Trump finally agreed to the June stealth strike on Iran's nuclear facilities (which also shut down the '12 day War'). But Netanyahu is still under pressure possibly to be thrown in jail at home, and also for the resolution to Gaza and peace process so they LIHOP'd the Qatar strike on Wednesday. Next day they took out Charlie Kirk who was going to lead millions of young American conservatives into the anti-Israel camp, there are too many changes-of-tack by Kirk in the past 6 months to list in his Israel/Jews stances (in one recent segment he accused globalist Jews of causing mass immigration, in addition to the criticisms of Israel; and of course he isn't alone on the right recently). Kirk's following and his unique position as head of an influential well-funded , could not be allowed to take this strong anti-Israel stance.
RE: Qatar itself, sure not many Americans follow or care but it directly relates to Gaza-Israel and the strike was directly targeted at one building tha t housed the diplomatic negotiators aka 'terrorists'; the strike's significance was coming a day prior to the anniversary of 9/11 which (for example) Tucker Carlson dropped a 5-part documentary that has conveniently now had its debut forgotten. There's a method to all the state of Israel madness
