These newly declassified fuckers are always circling ahead underwater using the most advanced AI we don't even know about to detect everything they see to identify all possible threats from miles away.
Don't ask me how I know, but ever since 9/11 we have created so many layers of overlapping surveillance assets on land, sea, air, space, and cyberspace it is virtually impossible to get anything close to our Navy vessels without it being detected far in advanced and likely neutralized long before it's ever close enough to do any damage.
Hypersonic missiles though, now those are the only thing that have not been truly tested against irl war yet. Defending against multiple incoming at the same time is where things get dicey.
