I think they're actually recognizing that the fact people's attachment to their characters and expressing their characters is the most important part of this game which is why they've been leaning into stuff like dual dyes, Viera hats, etc. I think one of 8.0's selling points might be a big increase to character customization, like new hair/eye colours such as the ones you see in S9 and such. I really want them to go all-in and lean into this more, it really is a fun part of the game.

If you're a modder I think people here said there's some mod you can use to do exactly that, but I kind of enjoy suffering through trying to freeze on the exact frame I need so I don't use it.
