School should not last longer than the age of 14, after 14 you should be tested for your capabilities and either sent into vocational training for the workforce or into college if intelligent enough.
That it takes 12 years from the age of 6 to the age of 18 to teach kids, basic math, basic reasoning, basic history, basic geography etc, is absolute bullshit.
At most it should take until 14 or even 12 years old for a person to know these things and to be allowed to move on with his life. If a person wishes to go further down his education, he should be given free education if he/she can prove to be skilled enough in pre acceptance test or later in life he can pay to get an education which should only last a year at most.
Degrees taking 4 years is bullshit, you can learn everything in 1 year remove the summer break and let people immerse themselves in their future work environments.
