Bernie Wrightson is probably my favourite artist of all time, his Frankenstein stuff especially is phenomenal.
Nico Delort is also a massive modern inspiration since he does similar hatching works. However Nico does much longer and more flowing lines compared to Wrightson. I highly recommend looking up his works if you like Wrightson.
