I wouldn't mind selling rare earth materials to the US if they offered us a fair deal. The thing is, they are incapable of doing that. These days, they don't want a mutually benefitial, bilateral partnership with us, or anyone for that matter. They want servitude. To the Portuguese speakers here, If I may have a pun, instead of a proposta, they'll offer us a "probosta" and hail it as a good deal. If we refuse, they'll follow their modus operandi of funding NGOs, media organizations and funding the opposition in the hopes of discrediting the current regime both internally and internationally, and then try to achieve regime change, whether through the next election, or if they are desperate enough, through some sort of coup.
