An interesting concept but I feel like AOS brets would just be brets, you can't change the gimmick too much since it's basically just King Arthur's round table but French mixed with Holy Grail styled fuckery. The heart of Bretonia is that low tech semi-magical society, I can't think of what else to add that would really make it worthwhile as a whole new faction.

Maybe go in on the storybook aspect of them, make them like an old swords and sorcery book come to life, completely at odds with the rest of the universe. Maybe some old stories passed down from the world that was (somehow?) and some best selling books, through the power of hope and imagination New Bretonia is born! More fantastical, could have everything more stylized like old medeival art, like weird dragons and hipogryphs, damsels and heroic knights, even a black knight and green knight figure! That's probably wayyyy too hokey but sounds cute enough. Pic Tangentially related.
