Cerulean Crescent. The gameplay may or may not be to everyone's preference (lots of overpowered skills, even misery mode which I played is not that difficult) but it has better writing than most actual FE games and tries to be its own thing rather than cargo culting FE and making something worse in every way.

I've also played TLP, it's not really fun outside of some hilarious cutscenes. I also tried Hag in White, it sucks despite people saying it was good so I dropped it and haven't bothered to play any more romhacks. There isn't much appeal playing something which allegedly has interesting difficulty or whatever if it has shitty fanfiction writing and I can't bond with the characters at all.
