It's not about irony or even sincerity. It's the fact that these "people" will say and do literally anything on camera and think nothing of it beyond the potential for some form of reward. Its become like breathing to these people, and it's not worth wasting time on. The point of that video was to generate discussion like this, which then spread to Twitter, reddit, and finally here all of which does nothing but help that woman's magic numbers go up.
