Women want a male whose dominance they can exploit for protection and provision even if this dominance comes at the expense of a degree of evil such as abuse or other violent tendencies. In a primitive context, women benefit immensely as long as these tendencies are directed towards the external world which is why women's vaginas are barbarian-coded.
