Russell Gmirkin wrote a couple books that have shown that the Hebrew bible was a Hellenistic era work that used Plato, Greek and Sumarian mythology and other stories. It is judaized western thought. It is by no means a new idea. Gmirkin just did the scholarly work and it got it published. Jesus has long been known to be a mix of judaic theology and Hellenistic/Persian mystery religions. Islam is Arabic mixed in with that. But tye core of what makes all of those work os Hellenistic aka western ideas.
