the topic sort of reminds me of an experience I had playing a social game with dress up during the pandemic
basically there was also a group of men that liked to play female characters, but then they started saying this and that option were only used by some sexist stereotype of trans
basically all makeup options, most hair options, all face paint, accessories, and color schemes meant you were fetishistic
like options they put in the game for women, that women used, and some of them meant ur character had like various degenerative diseases or birth defects
what I found so interesting is that they progressively restricted all of the options for what they considered an authentic female character
but then the same guys, and they were usually straight men, would say they don't like playing male characters cos they lack options...
