Yui Karasuno is a westaboo. She drew art of the western characters before working for Sonic Team, makes art for IDW and puts their characters in official art. She's only incorporated western inventions like Knuckles specifically liking grapes and Sonic having socks instead of boot cuffs in her stuff.
