Thanks for the offer to help, but I'm gonna try again this weekend to see if I can get them to transfer...I could have saved myself the trouble and have most of this stuff in cloud storage, but I'm kind of paranoid when it comes to that topic...honestly I don't care for much of the AI which has come along now these past few years

All I know is about 99% of my pics I put on the USB stick and they transferred flawlessly, but only one or two of the few dozen videos I've saved made it through
