I never had a chance circumstances-wise. Fucked up vietnam vet dad who peaced when I was three, single Mom with on and off boyfriends in the WV equivalent of northeastern PA.
I was a new kid 3 times in elementary school, and I was bullied mercilessly for my at-home haircuts and cat piss clothes. A kid on my bus threw a giant jawbreaker at my skull so hard it shattered.
Then, I hit puberty. It was like magic. Girls started coming up to me and saying shit like “So what’s your deal? Why are you so quiet?” Like they weren’t the ones who were laughing at me just a couple years earlier.

I pumped and dumped so many girls in high school that tormented me as a kid, and got married to an awesome woman straight out of college.
Sometimes they still reach out on Facebook like “hey.. I had a dream about you last night, hope you’re doing okay”
I just leave them on read.
