Yeah my buddy's M72 with Konoshit in it like HURT bad. You couldn't get through more than a mag. It hurt bad enough IMO to not me practically useable, among other issues with that KONO system.
>average amount of pressure shouldn't lock/break
And this was my experience with my 2nd lever that made it 1100 rounds just doing basic drills. In the exact same setup I broke it the moment I tried intentionally doing recoil control drills with le death grip.
Replacement for that lever went a similar direction.
>robustness of various reset mechanisms
So right now I think the conversation is two fold, robustness of the mechanism to various gassing, ammo, etc and shooter finger strength application, AND the mechanical advantage the mechanism utilizes to force the reset. We want something as close to auto as possible right? In a real auto gun, you can grip as hard as you want and two things don't happen, that will happen in a SS/FRT system if not designed properly. Thing one, the strength of your finger on the trigger beats the reciprocating energy, and the gun just doesn't cycle, or fails to cycle completely. Thing two, the strength of the reset as leveraged by the mechanism is stronger than some yield strength in one of the components, and the mechanism breaks.
We don't want either.
Any ideas why the area in red isn't reinforced? Why is it clearanced on both the SS and Atrius designs?
