Is he the sans of Deltarune? Or rather, because Deltarune came first, is Sans the Roulx of Undertale?
I can see him being the representation of "Your choices don't matter" in Snowgrave route, where the player does everything to change the game as much the they can, and Roulx, being a literal rules card, is trying the hardest to make the player obey the rules of the game again and drop the broken run.
