On a more serious note, I'd say that Dark Souls focuses more on the building aspect of TTRPGs. You have a bunch of different weapons and a bunch of different stats that you can choose to level, and all of this influences how the game is played. Even if you don't have a "character", you do have a "role" in what build you have. This is also why people call Souls games "action RPGs".
For something like Jeanne d'Arc on the PSP, the emphasis is on developing different units for different roles in a fight. It's more restrictive in builds than standard RPGs and looser in units than standard tactical games, so it can be called a "Tactical RPG" as a mix.
PSP Jeanne is also very cute, I might add.
