I loved watching Joe squirm when confronted with an actual mystery he has to solve all on his own without a character guiding him through it where he gets to smugly focus on one detail that is vague or he interprets in an autistically rigid way so he can declare the whole mystery busted because he is such a genius that he catches every detail on his first readthrough everytime.
You can even hear in his voice how uncomfortable he is with so many viewers and his gf watching while he has no clue how to proceed, because the way he interprets information is so autistically rigid it makes making any progress in understanding impossible.
