The US has approved the sale of 3,350 ERAM missiles to Ukraine, expected to arrive in about six weeks, WSJ reports. The package is funded by European countries through the PURL program.

ERAM, developed in the US for Ukraine, reportedly has a range of 463 km and a 227 kg warhead, but its exact design remains unknown. Some analysts suggest it could be a modified PJDAM or JSOW-ER.

At the same time, US policy since summer 2025 blocks the use of long-range weapons, including ERAM and Storm Shadow, for strikes on Russian territory.
