/b/tard, finding /b/ when I was about 14, 15 from a Senior friend (girl) in HS. From there I was cognizant of MLP, but ended up becoming a /b/tard and a /g/entooman. I found MLP in 2011, quit the whole thing in maybe late 2012, early 2013, becoming a /g/entooman and /pol/tard. I had watched MLP from the start until about mid S3 where I dropped it.
At that point, I wasn't really aware of /mlp/ and its culture. I was a /b/tard who also posted on ponychan sometimes, but by the time 2017 rolled around, I was totally engrossed in /pol/. But when /mlpol/ happened, I was reminded of how much Poni had meant to me, and so I decided to come back, missing out on about 4 years of /mlp/ culture.
Since then, 2017, I became more of an /mlp/ regular, got real involved. But then I started to drift away a couple years ago due to me getting :just:ed among other life circumstances and now finally getting my shit together.
Realizing what I missed out on back in 2013, even trying to bring others 'to the herd' , I made a sort of vow, that no matter what, I would recognize that pony was a part of me. It was with me in my formative years, and I will never forget my girls.
They helped me, and were with me all this time, as you all were, physical presence be damned.
So yeah.
I'm not really a nor/mlp/erson anymoer, but I don't forget where I came from and never will.
