/v/ likes the narrative of go woke, go broke. I like that narrative because I hate woke. But I don't think it's a given at all. More likely it might be something like they made the mistake of charging for what is traditional a free live service game, on top the the usual mlking. Or that there's actually a large but limited number of audiences for this type of game, and it's a tapped market.
