The Tibbet artstyle was so fucking ugly, you could always instantly tell when a character was made for that season. There wouldn't even be an attempt to make them blend in with the main cast. I have no idea what was on their minds.

In contrast, the recently released "A Fish Called Sandy" is one of the best Spongebob episodes visually. Damn heartbreaking they can't make that the standard. Anyone reading who hasn't seen it, the episode is worth watching for the visuals alone, and screenshots don't do it justice.

The episode was probably the best 2D animation visually on air this year.
