The overall story was honestly dogshit and ultra-contrived, leaning too far into political correctness and robot genocide.
Otherwise, it's a rare gem of a game. Almost like an interactive movie, with top-notch production, cutscenes, animations, graphics, gameplay ideas and so on. The scene-to-scene scriptwriting is also quite good even if the overarching story is shit. I also think there's very few large budget games that have as much story branching as this one. It has insane amount of branching, 3 characters with endless choices and possibilities, they intersect into a few major events here and there, but otherwise there's endless options and story threads to pursue, and countless end states for the game. It's a must try for those reasons alone.
