>playing Reforged
>teleport to Gurranq doesn't let you exit into Dragonbarrow
okay
>ride to the gap in the chasm where you can jump to Dragonbarrow on Torrent
>it's blocked
>"go to sellia fag lol"
okay
>try to cross the swamp
>Torrent dies of rot, I don't have enough rowa berries for raisins
okay...
>go around
>get randomly dismounted in front of the gate to Sellia and killed by some sort of turret defense system while marionettes shoot me
okay...
>go back
>get past the turret defense system
>kill Gowry's guard dog (which is hostile now)
>walk into Sellia, immediately dismounted (no Torrent in Sellia)
>feels like there's easily two times as many enemies in Sellia
>the towers are guarded by marionettes
>the streets are full of buffed lazuli and twinsage sorcerers with buffed tracking on their attacks
OKAY...
>finally get through Sellia
>notice there's an alabaster lord hanging out near the starlight shard altar above town
>fight him
>his gravitas attack is buffed so that there's a 50/50 chance that he starts firing a stream of like 12 gravity projectiles with near-perfect tracking that suck you into a follow-up explosion with no obvious hitbox
OKAY!!!
>finally get to Dragonbarrow
>pick up Radagon's Soreseal
>it's nerfed
Whoever made this is a fucking cunt
There are some good ideas, but they're drowned out by changes that feel like they completely misunderstand aspect of Elden Ring's design. Adding hundreds of rune fragments to the open world doesn't enrich exploration, it just reduces it to the same slop as any other open world game. The enemy changes are especially baffling. It feels like a lot of enemies stagger for less time AND have attacks that are designed to punish you for pressing R1 more than once. These aren't even difficult enemies, I'm talking about shit like the miners in Limgrave, who are able to gut punch you if you press R1 more than once with anything as slow as a regular greatsword.
