It's in situations like these that I wonder most how many unique posters there are per thread, and who each post comes from. When a certain piece of OC floods the general for a few weeks/months, I would imagine the count goes down or stays fairly level, inflow compensating for outflow. Sometimes I feel like I catch a glimpse of a true self, like looking at the perfect angle through a series of apartment windows, buildings, to see someone at ease in their place of power. I wonder if that reflects the affect of most people here. Tok seems pretty agitated a lot of the time, but I guess I tend to assume cooler heads in the bulk of the shitposters; they're cynical about their identities. I'm convinced there are a couple people who frequent this place and direct the conversation through repetition and bait. In any case it's interesting to imagine who those people might be: are they jilted /MCYOAG/oers? randos? authors shoring up their support? something more exotic? What do they do in their daily lives that brings them here, or any of us? Where do we come from? I think the anonymity is a blessing even if I shed it in a way. Still, I would like to have more to work with in answering these questions
