I wouldn't call it good but I ain't taking low Steam playercount as the game flopping. Too many factors and too much nuance for that. I think the game is doing fine.

Never played Bayo 3 but I'd say Yakumo is way better than Nero. Nero was gimped gameplay wise and was too whiny when he wasn't doing his best Dante impersonation. He came into his own quite a bit in 5 at least. Yakumo carries the torch of being a disciplined mission oriented ninja but his edgy one liners, reliance on his team and young headstrong attitude do enough to distinguish him. Animation wise he seems more brutal compared to Ryu too, while pretty much any style of fighting would fit Dante.
