for anyone actually curious the real reason why this thread exists is because Metaphor has the single best fiscal year sales on record for Atlus (for only 6 months of it spanning from october to April) and SEA is still pissed they couldn't tank the game
Even P5R which got a huge boost when it went multiplat (but has the best repeat sales in Atlus history by far regardless because it's P5) never did 2 million in a period of 6 months like Metaphor did.
P3R is the actual game released last year that fell off a cliff and after selling ~1.2 million from Feburary to April, it only sold 800k the entire next year.
All of these games are far better than Expedition 33 and FF7 Rebirth btw
